Verse mit 1716 datierter Widmung „Affectus hic est in Collegam sincer[us]“ von Christian Gottlob Pitschmann (geb. 1681), 1709 Lehrer in Zittau: En! hunc RELLIGIO laudat, SCHOLA et ipsa MATHESIS / Teuto cum Czecho verba librosqve probat. / Nam PIUS est SOLERS FACILIS Sic dixit acutus / Tschirnhaus, de hoc ego: Vir Fautor, Amice vale! (Seht, diesen hier preist die Religion, die Schule und die Mathematik, der Deutsche zusammen mit dem Tschechen billigt seine Worte und seine Schriften. | Denn fromm ist er, tüchtig und ungänglich: so sprach der scharfsinnige Tschirnhaus [A 22317], und ich sage: Lebe wohl, Du mein Gönner und Freund!)"
