Superintendent in Altdorf (vorher 1685–1690 Superintendent in Schleusingen): Verè Herculis Scholastici vides umbram, / Hanc qui vides Umbra illê saepius solâ / Tot monstra domuit, Hennebergici Tractûs / Praeceptor inclytus, utilisq[ue] Schadaeus. (Eines wahrhaftigen Schul-Herkules Schatten siehst du hier. Der du diesen siehst: er hat öfter mit dem Schatten allein (?) soviele Ungeheuer gezähmt, der berühmte Schulmeister des hennebergischen Landes, der treffliche Schadaeus)."
