(Dieser zweite Karl hier, den das grausame England als König spüren wird, aber als einen, der nach dem Willen des strafenden Schicksals den Tod seines auf unerhörte Weise gemordeten vergöttlichten Vaters rächen wird, zeigt auf diesem Bildnis seine freundlich-ernsten Züge.
