Legende „Ad[modu]m R[everen]d[us] Amplissimusq[ue] D[ominus] D[ominus] JACOBVS ZAFFIVS Cathedral[is] Eccles[iae] | Harlemensis Praeposit[us] et Archidiaconus. obijt an[n]o 1618.“ – Darunter 6 distich. lat. Verse: Cur ZAFFI tenerae mandatur imago papyro? / Vt possit, cineri VIR superesse suo. / Scilicet haec facies verae Virtutis imago est / Ingenio, sacris dogmatibusq[ue] nitens[.] / Adspicis hanc? PRVDENS, viventis ab ore, loquetur / Simplicitas formam, Relligioq[ue] Deum[.] (Warum wird Zaffius’ Bildnis dem zarten Papier anvertraut? Damit der Mann seine Asche überleben kann. | Denn freilich ist dieses Antlitz ein Abbild wahrer Tugend, strahlend von Geist und heiligen Lehren. | Du betrachtest es?
