Aug.“, r. „Denat[us] ao. 1668 | d[ie] 27 Xbris.“ Seitlich unten an bebänderten Stäben hängend 2 Emblemkartuschen: l. „Nil mens operosa recusat“ [Nichts verweigert ein tätiger Geist] [Gerichtsverhandlung], r. „Fides antiqua triumphat“ [Der alte Glaube triumphiert] [Prozession]. Unten am Oval Wappenkartusche, darunter auf einem an den Ecken mit Schleifen an dem (kaum sichtbaren) Sockel befestigten Tuch „Franciscus Romanus, Juris utriusqve Doctor, | et hîc Lipsiae Professor publicus“ [F. R., beider Rechte Doktor und hier in Leipzig öffentlicher Professor], darunter daraus gebildetes anagrammatisches lat. Distichon mit Widmung „D[omi]no Patrono et Fautori suo qvondam | honoratissimo curabat“ von Johann Frentzel (1609–1674), Prof. d.Poes. in Leipzig [A 7115]: Musis hîc prorsus concors, rebus[que?] operosus / Practicus, antiqvâ Vir fuit ille Fide. (Mit den Musen durchaus auf gutem Fuße stehend [und] ein in den Geschäften vielfach Tätiger, war er ein Mann von alterprobter Treue)."
