IN tabula Aurigam Phaêtontem expressit Apelles, / Non potuit radios exprimere atq[ue] diem. / SAXONIS expressit faciem sic pictor, at ipsos / Non potuit Mores, Ingenium atq[ue] Fidem. / Pectoris optabis frustra spectare fenestram, / Quis fuerit verò totus ab ore patet. / Non opus est hederam vino supendere dulci: / Ingenium, Mores, Scriptaq[ue] clara docent.
