AEtat[is] XL. mo.“ – Im Sockel 8 lat. distich. Verse mit Widmung „Viro celeberrimo posuit“ von Georg Ludwig Rhode (1703–1739), Pastor in Bremen: Quem sua mens scriptis toties cultissima pinxit, / Enthea quae spirant mollius aere [vgl. Verg. Aen. 6,847] Virum: / Quem genitrix pia Brema dedit, quem Clivius olim / Nunc Batavus ditem caelica dona fovent: / Vir desiderii, Vigilum molimina doctus, / Qui sapit, ut DANIEL, mystica Sacra Dei: / Si, tu, quam faciem? quantae vestigia mentis / Ore gerit? rogitas: en tibi GERDESIUM!
