                "@value": "Epitaph in der Allerheiligenkirche in Wittenberg, in Kreuzschraffur- Rechteck. – Büste nach hr. auf mit großem Akanthusblatt geschmücktem Sockel auf löwenfüßigem Sarkophag auf Konsolsockel. Um den Sarkophag u. die Büste 3 Putti: der erste o. r. mit der Rechten der Büste einen Lorbeerkranz aufsetzend, in der Linken einen Ewigkeitsschlangenring haltend, der zweite r. darunter auf dem Sarkophag sitzend und eine Tuba blasend, der dritte l. vor dem Sarkophag stehend, behelmt u. mit der Linken einen Spiegel emporhaltend über einen Haufen Bücher mit Titeln Zieglers (v. o.n. u. „Not[iones] ad Grotium“, „Dicastice [sive de Judicum officio et delictis]“, „Com[mentarius] ad Lancellott[um]“, „Superintendens“ [vgl. A 24803], „Commentar[ius] et Introd[uctio] ad Proc[essum] Saxon[icum]“, „De Diac[onis et Diaconissis veteris testamenti]“, „[De] Dote Eccl[esiae]“, „[De] Cler[ico] Renit[ente]“, „De Juribus Majestatis“ [vgl. A 24803], „De Episcop[is]“), mit der Rechten ein Blatt entrollend mit 7zeil. lat. Widmungslegende der Witwe u. Tochter „CASPARI ZIEGLERO | CONSIL[iario] ELECT[oris] SAX[oniae] | ET ORDINIS JURIDICI | WITTENB[ergensis] PRAESIDI. | Nato 1621 eid.[= idibus] Septemb. | Mortuo 1690. 15 kal[endis] Maii, | Vidua et Filia M[onumentum] Poni] C[uraverunt].“ Auf dem Konsolsockel r.
