Schriftrahmen [= Kopie nach A 21994] innerhalb Parallelschraffur-Rechteck mit gemusterten Eckzwickeln. Lat. Ovalumschrift gleichlautend mit der Legende von A 21991. – Unter dem Bild 6 distich. lat. Verse: Sors ferit, ecce fero: sortem sic vinco ferendo: / Crux vincit, vinco spe patiente crucem. / Spe fixa, nixa solido fundamine CHRISTO, / Qui mihi nunc sortem sublevat, atq[ue] crucem. / Quin cruce sublata, sedato turbine sortis, / Me varia sortis prosperitate beet. (Das Schicksal schlägt mich, also trag ich’s [Wortspiel mit ferire/ ferre], so besieg’ ich das Schicksal durch Ertragen. Das Kreuz [= Leid] siegt, ich besiege durch geduldige Hoffnung das Kreuz: | durch feste Hoffnung, die sich stützt auf Christus als starkes Fundament, der mir jetzt das Schicksal und das Kreuz erleichtert. | Warum sollte er nicht, wenn erst das Kreuz aufgehoben [beseitigt] und der Sturm des Schicksals beruhigt ist, mich mit mannigfacher Schicksalsgunst beglücken?)."
