Umschrift „SERENISSIMVS ET POTENTISSIMVS MAXIMILIANVS VTRIVSQVE BAVARIAE DVX, SACRI ROMANI IMPERII ARCHIDAPIFER ET ELECTOR.“ Darüber Schriftbogen mit lat. Hexameter „QVIDQVID VBIQVE VIDES, HAC, LECTOR, IN ICONE, FORTE EST“ (Alles, was du hier auf diesem Bilde siehst, Leser, ist stark), über ihm ov. pfälz.-bayr. Wappenschild (in der Mitte Reichsapfel als Zeichen des Erbtruchsessenamts) mit Umschrift „INSIGNES LEONIBVS“ (Berühmt durch Löwen). Bildoval u. Wappen vor einer Triumphbogen-Architektur, deren Bildfelder einschl. der Sockel die Taten des Herakles zeigen. Auf den Sockeln stehen zu Seiten des Ovals l. Simson mit Eselskinnbacken auf dem erlegten Löwen, darunter „PER NATURAE VIRES“ (Durch die Kräfte der Natur), r. David mit Schleuder u. Hirtenstab auf erlegtem Löwen, darunter „PER INGENY ARTES“ (Durch die Künste des Geistes). Unter dem Oval zwischen den Sockeln Daniel in der Löwengrube, darunter „PER DIVINAM PROTECTIONEM“ (Durch göttlichen Schutz). – Pendant zu A 1083."
