                "@value": "Rechteckig gefaßte allegorische Darstellung. Durch ein halbgeöffnetes Portal mit Inschrift „COR. MAGIS. TIBI. MUSA. PANDIT.“ (Mehr öffnet das Herz dir die Muse) unter einer von korinth. Säulen getragenen Balustrade sieht man in einen exedraartigen Innenhof, in dessen Mitte Denkmal Herzog Augusts auf dem Pegasus (vgl. A 2323). Über dem Portal von geflügeltem Putto mit brennender Fackel gehaltene Kartusche „POR= | TICUS | AUGU= | STI.“ Vorn l. auf Podest Figur der „GERMANIA“ mit Trauerschleier, in der auf ein Kanonenrohr mit Reichsadler gestützten Rechten Szepter, in der Linken offenes Buch mit Aufschrift „typograph:“ haltend, zu ihren Füßen die dt. Kaiserkrone, im Sockel „IN QUAE | MODO | FUNERA | DAMNOR!“ [Zu welchen Leiden werde ich gerade verurteilt!], im Gebälk darüber „Erit mensura malorum“ (Das Unglück wird ein Maß haben) [frei nach Juvenal, Sat. 10,98]; r. gegenüberstehend auf ebensolchem Sockel lobeerbekränzte weibl. Gestalt „LINGUA GERMAN[ica]“ mit Laute, im Sockel „IN QUAE | MODO | GAUDIA | DUCOR!“ (Zu welchen Freuden werde ich gerade geführt!), im Gebälk darüber „Non cunctis formosa“ (Nicht für alle schön <sc. die dt. Sprache>)."
