M. auf dem Retabelgiebel Wappenkartusche mit Maske, seitlich auf dem Giebel lehnend je ein Engel l. mit Mitra, r. mit Krummstab, in der andern Hand je eine Tafel haltend mit Bibelvers „ANGELIS | SVIS DEVS | MANDAVIT | DE TE | VT | CVSTODI= | ANT // [irrtümlich wiederholt:] VT CVS | TODIANT | TE | IN O[mn]IB[u]S | VIIS TVIS“ [= Ps. 91,11, vgl. A 667]. Seitlich des Porträtovals je eine karyatidenartige, unten in Fruchtstück u. Blattvolute endende Putto-Halbf. – Lat. Ovalumschrift „REVERENDISS[imus] ET ILLVSTRISS[imus] PRINCEPS AC D[omi]N[u]S D[ominus] HENRICVS DE KNÖRINGEN EPISCOPVS AVGVSTANVS etc.“ (wie in A 667 u. 668). – In den seitl. Vorsprüngen des Retabelsockels je ein querov. Emblembild (wie in A 667]: l. Gotteslamm auf Altar unter hebr. Jahwe-Namen, r. Hostienkelch auf Altar. – In der Sockelnische in o./u. mit geflügeltem Engelskopf geschmückter u. seitlich mit je einem Palmwedel u. Lorbeerzweig besteckter Kartusche lat. Distichon: PRINCIPIS HOC SACRI SACRVM OS. SACRATAQ[ue] | FRONS EST: / VITA, PIAE MENTIS QVAE SIT IMAGO, | DOCET. (Dies ist das heilige Antlitz eines heiligen Fürsten und seine geheiligte Stirn: Was das Abbild eines frommen Geistes sei, lehrt sein Lebenswandel). U. M. 2zeil.
