Devise „FIRMATVM COELITVS OMEN“ mit Emblembild [Adler mit Reichsapfel, Krone, Szepter u. Schwert vor Sonne]. In der Brüstung zwischen Rechteckbildchen (l. Enthauptung Vincenz Fettmilchs 1616 in Frankfurt a. M. [vgl. A 6483], r. Prager Fenstersturz 1618) 8 lat. distich. Verse von Johann Georg Dorsch (1597–1659), luth. Theologe in Straßburg [A 5115–5124]: In faciem si quis faciem converterit hancce, / Inficias [sic] nunquam forsitan ire potest, / In facie mentis faciem lucescere divae: / Haec etenim facies mentis imago sacrae est. / In facie facies atavorum nempe refulgent: / Queis mixtus proprio lumine fulgor inest. / Belga scit, Hunnus ait, Bojusq[ue] et Turca fatetur, / In facie vultus volvier hacce nihil. (Wenn jemand sein Gesicht in dieses Gesicht verwandelt hat(?), kann er vielleicht niemals leugnen, | daß in diesem Gesicht das Gesicht eines göttlichen Geistes aufleuchte: ist doch dieses Gesicht das Abbild eines erhabenen Geistes. | In diesem Gesicht leuchten ja noch die Gesichter der Ahnen nach, in denen der mit dem eigenen Licht gemischte Glanz wohnt. | Der Niederländer weiß es, der Ungar sagt’s, und der Böhme und Türke gesteht es, daß in diesem Gesicht die Mienen sich kein bißchen bewegen). – Pendants angegeben unter A 4526."
